Trim wick to ¼ inch before lighting.

Allow the candle to burn all the way to the side of the jar to prevent tunneling.

Keep wax pool free of debris. Burn in a proper candle holder and do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours.

Stop burning when ½ inch of wax remains.
